The Off By One Launch Manager
Introduction
Off By One is a great web browser. I use it in times of crisis, when I need to work out what's wrong the sites I'm visiting/coding, as it doesn't dress up problems with fancy Microsoft speak that no-one understands.However, recently I have had the need to surf on my PC in the guise of a PDA Phone, and athough I know about the user agent switcher for Firefox, I didn't want the hassle of switching my Firefox configuration to and fro. So I wrote this, the Off By One Launch Manager . It's a simple front end to pre-configure the Off By One INI file, and then launch Off By One.
Because Off By One has limited support for CSS and Javascript, it is ideal for use as a 'fake' Pocket Internet Explorer.
The Launch Manager allows you to set the following before launching Off By One:
The User Agent (from a list in an easy-to-edit text file) The Size of the Off By One window (to force that PDA 240x320 resolution)To use, download the relevent package below and unzip into your Off By One folder.
